SUBCUTANEOUS MEAL
The scene is just another meal that just another regular mom has laid out for her brood, but tonight dinner goes beyond skin deep, as we peel away the outer dermis and see what it means to survive in a world where every opportunity to consume is bought with someone else’s death. In this show, we explore questions of varying privilege - the privilege of survival, the privilege to consume at will, the privilege of safety and the knowledge that while others will be killed for your lifestyle, you’ll never be sacrificed for theirs.
