Our mission & values

Mission

To increase access to the arts among marginalized communities in Western Washington by providing funds, educational resources, and community spaces to support local queer and BIPOC artists.

Vision

Through an inclusive living platform, we strengthen the clay community by providing clay artists of every level access to the education, resources, and support that they need to create, grow, and successfully navigate a path within the ceramics world.

Values

Inclusivity: We elevate and center the voices of artists from communities that have been left out of the ceramics world and strive to make our community accessible and welcoming to all.

Collaboration: We believe collaboration is essential to create an inclusive and creative community.

Creativity: We center individuality, artistic freedom, the joy of learning, and celebrate the complete identities of artists.

Access: We believe that access to art is essential for all.

Community over competition: There is space for all in the arts community. We value collaboration, kindness, and thoughtful disagreement over gatekeeping, unhealthy competition, and exclusion.
